After working with Festa for a few years they were ready for a new website. The festival is constantly evolving and the website needed to be built to reflect that; it’s easily updated each year to accommodate for new entertainment, activities and fun. The site was also built with responsive web design, ensuring the site would work great on any size device. The graphics we developed for this site were also used in their app.
For decades Festa has used a unique logo each festival season. In 2013 they approached us to develop a logo that could last longer yet also provide a meaningful and immediate recognition of what Festa is about: Italian heritage, food, fun and wine.
Every two years Festa (and Vollrath PR) come up with a theme we use to create a new visual concept and that concept is used across all advertisements and marketing materials to create a consistent recognizable look. 2015-2016’s theme was ‘Your Ticket to Italy’. Using that we came up with illustrations that encapsulates all things Festa. The illustrations were used together and some times as individuals to work for different sizes and purposes.
Following the theme developed for 2015 the grounds brochure, rack card, posters and coasters were designed and printed. The coasters, advertising Uber rides and a Buy 1 Get 1 ticket offer, get dropped off at random bars throughout the city for many to see.
2013-2014’s theme was ‘Tutti Italiani. It feels good to be Italian’. Using that we came up with a combination of images that represent feeling Italian. This concept is used across all advertisements and marketing materials to create a consistent, recognizable look.
Following the theme developed for 2013-2014 the grounds brochure with the entertainment schedule, menus and map designed by GT, rack card, and coasters were designed and printed.
